KaveBarlang (ca-vay-bar-long) is a Hungarian themed coffee shop located in Oakland, Ca. The purpose of this piece was to design a complete lookbook (70 page minimum) based off a country of our choice themed coffee shop. The purpose of a lookbook is to persuade potential investors into investing into a business. This lookbook’s goal was to appropriately represent a country’s culture without appropriating it as well. Focusing on the rich culture of Hungary I included a look into Hungary’s vibrant culture, including elements of their vineyards, wine, extensive cave systems, and many other elements. Below the primary logo as well as some of my personal favorite spreads are shown for your viewing experience.
